All bookings must be made by persons over the age of 18 years
The Thirsty Horse will make an application for a drinks licence ( temporary event notice) on your behalf to gain permission to serve alcohol, the booking is dependent on the licence been issued by the local council and police.
The Thirsty Horse reserves the right to refuse service under the licensing act. We operate a Challenge 25 policy, which means if your Guest's look under 25 we will need proof of age with a valid photographic form of ID. If no ID when asked for then we will refuse. Its up to as the organizer to inform there Guest's of this. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone acting abusive towards our staff or customers, or found to be buying drinks for underage person or found to be overly intoxicated.
The Thirsty Horse only allows Drinks from our bar to be served at your event. The reason for this is that we will be the responsible licensees for the event and as such need to be in control of alcohol there. If the hirer would like bring their own drinks onto the premises then a surcharge per bottle will apply. Please discuss with us when booking.
If the Organizers want to treat your Guests. to a complimentary drink on arrival, as a specified amount behind the bar, this has to be paid 7 Days prior to the event.
As standard Plastic glassware will be used at your event to maximise customer safety. There are different types of plastic glasses which we can access to be eco friendly etc., please discuss at the time of the booking.
The thirsty Horse has £100 non refundable deposit at the time of the booking. This Saves the date, pays for the TEN and other costs of getting the bar to your event. There may be additional costs in some circumstances, please discuss with your booking.
The Thirsty Horse has public liability insurance, 5* food Hygiene rating, The management hold personal alcohol licenses..
